We have been taking some very needed time off while doing some work to understand how this
presidential election impacts on the development of independent politics in Texas — not to mention peace on earth.
We hope to have some important news for you over the coming weeks, especially with the legislative session starting on January 10th.
Meanwhile, we wish to announce some very exciting news!
The Simsboro Aquifer Water Defense Fund (SAWDF) — just received news from the IRS that they are now a tax-exempt non-profit organization. Remember, the Simsboro formation of the Carrizo-Wilcox aquifer is the most sought after groundwater in Texas over which the growth industry is salivating. If developers who want to build out areas without long term water supply get their wishes, the Simsboro will be paying the price…along with current landowners and our incoming generation. Read this and please consider giving a tax-deductible contribution to SAWDF before the end of the year.
We also wish to thank each and everyone of you who touched our lives in 2016 — donors and volunteers alike.
Enjoy the rest of the holidays, y’all! See you in 2017.
