Bastrop Sludge Update

The father of the owner of the property, Dalton Wallace, showed up and to his credit faced the crowd. It is our hope that the Wallaces will see that a plan to place Class B biosolids (sewage sludge) near critical water resources and a growing population area of Bastrop County makes no sense.

Many thanks to Rep. John Cyrier for speaking and to Bastrop Judge Paul Pape for attending and listening. More news very soon!

If you live in the area — Cedar Creek, Rockne and Red Rock – make sure you weigh in on this at the TCEQ website with substantive comments about how this affects you. If you’ve already done so, but thought of additional things you want to say, you can comment again.

Go to the home page of DontSludgeBastrop.info.

Content is being added daily, with the help of many of you sending information. A steering committee meeting will be called very soon.
