Rumor has it there is action planned at the Bastrop Economic Development Corporation meeting on Monday (6
pm at City Hall) that you are not going to like.
We believe you will be able to witness the influence-peddlers coming out in the open to grab your tax dollars for personal gain.
Please plan on being there to witness this. There will be no streaming of this event. If you can’t make it at 6, come when you can.
We are urging that our community — with all our differences — come out to see this for yourselves and to make plans for passage of “More Reasonable Petition Requirements in Bastrop” this November. This will give us the tools we need to put a stop to this abuse of authority that will overtake our community if we let it.
