This white paper was adopted by the non-partisan, non-profit League of Independent Voters of Texas on August 20, 2018. It discusses how candidates of any and all parties can reach out to Texas independent, non-aligned voters for the 2018 election. We look forward to LIV’s plans for 2020. We encourage the millions of non-aligned voters — small “i” independents of Texas — to join LIV, the only voter association in Texas for the millions who for the person, not the party and who may or may not vote in either major party primary. A super-majority of us Texans — regardless of party affiliation — want more choices!
