"Don't Tag Texas" Rally - Austin

"Independent Texans" joined in on the "Don't Tag Texas" rally (click for more pics) held in Austin following the riveting hearings on the Trans-Texas Corridor and freeway tolls. The legislature is on its way to passing -- we think -- a 2 year moratorium -- just enough time for us to kill the cash cows!

One of the thousands of bikes at the "Lonestar Rally" in Galveston on Nov. 5, 2006, for the Grandma for Governor!

Gordon and Billie, Strayhorn supporters in Galveston, came out to the biker rally to visit and take signs out to the polls for election day. Billie is a local veterinarian.

Thanks to Danny & Stephanie Parks with The Mavericks and the Motorcycle Rights Association for helping get bumper stickers out at the Lonestar Rally in Galveston. We reached thousands of Texas bikers that day!

On the first day of early voting, Dr. Pat Choate, Perot's '96 running mate and national leader against the NAFTA Trans-Texas Corridor, with other independent leaders, lays out Carole Keeton Strayhorn's solution -- to widen IH-35.

Hands Across the Corridor Photos

People in 36 counties organized protests at their county courthouses to come with a cup of dirt from their land. Our message was 'If Rick Perry and his highway robbin' friends want our land for the Trans-Texas Corridor (and want our taxes through tolling roads we've already paid for), both done without a vote of the people, they can just try to come and take it!
